Disability Support Workers are responsible for providing high-quality, individualised care to participants with disabilities. This includes personal care, household assistance, emotional support, and fostering participants' independence and well-being.
Duties Include:
Participant Support - personal care, meaningful connections and developing and maintining independance
Household assistance - Meal preparation, cleaning, household chores
Safety and Monitoring - assessment of participant needs, wellbeing and safety control
Organisational Duties - Completing progress notes, incident reports, engaging in professional development and performance improvement plans
